Brigadoon Golf Society

It is my intention to introduce Golf packages in the future, so watch this space for it's introduction as it is only in the early stages at the moment, it may not be before Autumn 2006, covering all the courses in and around the Fuengirola area, and all other courses on the Costa Del Sol by request.

We are considering starting a "Brigadoon Golf Society" in the near future...We are hoping to start this by November 2006 playing between 4 and 6 round's over different courses throughout the season, should you be intrested please contact Michael as soon as possible. Alternitively should you have a planned holiday that coincides with any of our outing's and would like to come along please contact Michael as early as you can to avoid any disapointment

Well the golf  society is now up and running and we play our first outing on Monday 21st of January at Europa golf course in the La cala Hills Resort, watch this space and I shall keep everyone updated with results and dates of our future outings.

We are up and running and the La cala outing proved a little difficult for those who took part and also those who didn't. The first of many many shots was taken by Joe Wright(16) from Nothern Ireland at 1:00pm to get the society off and running. Issac Wheelock(18) won nearest the pin on the 16th and that was because nobody else managed to hit the dance floor, Congratulations to Issac for doing what no one else could, we even tried to use the GPS satalite navigation equipment to confirm the distance he was away from the hole but i think the satalite may have been closer to the pin, hence no distance could be recorded. Our first outing was rudely interupted at the 9th hole as the heavens opened and had everyone heading for the clubhouse for a 1 hour rain delay ,yes we had rain here on the Costa Del Sol today, At this point we were feeling sorry for Pete Geldard(20) as he only had a T-shirt and shorts and was soaked through. When we managed to continue the overall winners of the first outing were Joe Wright and Michael(14) who shared the spoils between them. Thanks to all who took part and hope the next outing is as enjoyable.
